Boy Scouts Presentation

The BSC mentors visit a Boy Scout meeting to introduce the young boys to STEM. The scouts were taught how to build their own tin can robots along with robotics fundamentals.

Tech Friday - Java Graphics

During this Tech Friday we wrote programs that displayed digital graphics using java. We wrote GUI programs to learn the fundamentals to drawing graphic using Java programming.

Scared Pink 5K Fun Run

UHCL is hosting the Scared Pink 5K Fun Run on Oct. 23 to help raise money for breast cancer awareness. The event will be on campus and all the proceeds go to The Rose, a local non-profit organization dedicated to fighting breast cancer.

The BSC Club participated in the fun run and also had a table with games.

Tech Friday - Python Warrior

Students learned to code your own digital warrior to fight in a virtual dungeon full of unknown horrors. Learn to program and apply your skills to control a digital character's movement and combat prowess with python and data structures.

Come join us at UHCL on April 9, 2016 for an opportunity for you and your team to showcase your Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics skills.

The STEM Challenge is open to all High-School Students, Community College Students, and Undergraduate University Students. You do not need to have a background in any STEM field, or any previous programming or robotics experience in order to participate!
